Sundays-Breeze Hill in Prospect Park

Relationship Reconnection: Learn more about your spouse by observing their food choices! Share your meals and talk about what you like and don’t like about each dish. This is a simple act that can help you reconnect by just paying attention to each other and trying to learn more about your spouse!

Roller Skating

When the weather is warm enough, strap on your roller skates and join the Central Park Dance Skaters Association every Saturday and Sunday as they skate around Central Park! Each weekend, these skaters put on some fun music and skate/dance for hours. They are located at the North East corner of Sheep Meadow in Central Park, and anyone is welcome to skate with them!

Relationship Reconnection: This is an other great opportunity to hold hands and laugh together! Talk about your favorite childhood memories and share some embarrassing moments from your past! As you laugh together, you are sure to strengthen your relationship, ease stress, and come closer together!

This is a great activity for the summer but if it's the winter and you want to get out and skate head over to the Rockefeller Centre for some ice skating!

Metropolitan Museum of Art

Visit the MET for an interesting and educational date! For additional fun, make up a scavenger hunt for your visit!

Here are a few scavenger hunt ideas:
-Search for hidden carvings in the pillars of the Temple of Dendur
-Decipher ancient Greek inscriptions that reveal the secret identity of a famous mummy
-Figure out who was standing by as Socrates willingly drank his poison
-Find the identity of the Greek warrior who’s holding the head of a Gorgon
-Find out what a Gorgon is!
-Explore the secrets of DaVinci and Monet

Relationship Reconnection: At the end of the date, each of you can share what your favorite exhibit was and what you learned. Make sure to listen carefully to your spouse without distractions such as your phones. Learning to listen is so important in a marriage and your spouse will feel so much more loved and cared for!

If you liked this date idea then you'll love visiting the museum of flowers and plants ad the Botanical Gardens or spending the day at the Central Park Zoo
