One of the most quintessential New York scenes people playing chess with each other in the park. On warm days, a person can't walk through Bryant Park in Manhattan without seeing people playing Chess. Grab your spouse and come on down to the park to start your own game! If you want to take your game to the next level you can challenge someone new to a game, or watch the intensity rise as the experts play.
Relationship Reconnection: While playing or watching chess, talk with each other about each of your favorite childhood memories. This allows for some fun conversation and a chance to take a trip down memory lane. This is an opportunity for each of you to share more about yourselves and your childhood and make a deeper connection.
You may want to grab some food after so check out one of my posts about dinning in New York City for some tips; Hunt for the Best Pizza, SriPraPhai, or Uncle Gussy's Food Truck!
